The world that this city belongs in is a world driven by advertisement, so I’m making sure to get that aspect right, then I will go in and add necessary windows around the advertising, as though the buildings were designed for advertising purposes.
More painting updates to come this week
Been busy trying to work through my dissertation this week so that I can crack on with my showreel shot, I’ve also been a bit busy with some contract work, but I should have another painting update before friday, basically going to add windows etc to buildings, some advertising, some highlights etc.
I also have a load of little assets to model and texture for the 3d room at the start. The fun part will be compositing as I get to add tv screens, bright lights, lens flares and a create a generally quite steampunky/eerie feel to the room.
Also going to upload a new version of my showreel next week and hopefully start contacting possible employers for when i leave uni, junior comp/roto/paint positions hopefully.

City Update – basic shading/placement etc
Adding windows and detail to the buildings, still need to paint some buildings for the background, and add a couple of FG towers etc to add some more depth. THE GREEN BUILDING WILL NOT BE STAYING GREEN
