I rendered out my scene into NUKE, and the camera, heres what it looks like.
I imported basic wall geometry also so I knew the rough area of my scene.
The amazing thing is that if I needed to add other objects to the scene, I could just model them in maya, put them into place, then import into NUKE and relight it.
I just need to bring in my city and do some projections onto geometry, then to add flying stuff etc to the BG. Then for the stuff to bring it to life, colour correction, blurs, flares etc.
I found a really nice python script to let me export stuff into NUKE easily called maya2nuke, I was having troubles just exporting my camera into an FBX file, so I found this.
Download here: http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/utility-external/export/c/maya2nuke-v2–2
Works in 2012 perfectly.
I also rendered out a depth pass too to help with compositing, and I will render out a normals pass later too.
Cheers,
Richard
